An Enfield man is out of jail following his arrest Monday morning on a warrant. According to White County Sheriff’s authorities, they were dispatched to a rural address after 28-year-old Eric Shiever called and said he wished to turn himself in. Deputies arrived on scene where they found Shiever waiting in the driveway and took him into custody. The warrant is related to an Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle charge and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance that dates back to July of 2025. In October, Shiever failed to appear according to online court records saying he was unable to find a ride. In November the warrant was issued. Shiever was in court Monday morning and released. He’s next due before a judge for a pre-trial hearing on June 3rd.
Also Monday morning, White County Sheriff’s authorities were called to the probation office in reference to 25-year-old Timothy Wilson of
Carmi having a warrant. That warrant was issued in late April on a Petition to Revoke Probation related to an Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance charge dating back to March of 2024. Wilson was in court Monday and released. He’ll be due back in court for arraignment on July 6th.
