Reports haven’t been filed to our knowledge, but online court records show recent arrests include a Cape Girardeau man and a Carmi woman in separate incidents. On Thursday afternoon, 36-year-old Kelsi Mann was taken into custody. She’s facing charges of Possession of Meth, a class 3 felony, Driving on an Unregistered or Expired Registration, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. In December, Mann’s probation was transferred in from another state. A first appearance on the most recent charges is expected on May 4th.
Also on Thursday just after 2am, 32-year-old Gage Shelton of Cape Girardeau, Missouri was booked into the jail. He was in court later Thursday for a first appearance on charges of Use of Property in relation to meth, Possession of Meth, Driving on a Revoked/Suspended License with DUI prior, Expired Registration with prior, Improper Use of Registration/Title, and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. He was subsequently let go on Pre-Trial Release. Shelton will be due back in White County court for a preliminary hearing on May 13th.
