He’ll also have to serve 6 years of mandatory supervised release once he gets out. Rawlinson received credit for 63 days’ worth of time served. Rawlinson pled guilty to the Home Invasion and Arson charges at his final pre-trial hearing Thursday with the other charges dismissed. He received a 7 year concurrent sentence on the Arson charge to be served with the dozen year sentence on the Home Invasion conviction.
Also in White County court Thursday, another Crossville man, 42-year-old Gregory Burchfield appealed his sentence handed down two months ago. In early February, Burchfield was sentenced to 3 years in the Department of Corrections on a conviction of Attempting to Foil a Drug Test. Burchfield’s attorney Jay Walden filed a motion to stay that jail sentence Thursday, but Judge Webb denied that motion. A hearing to consider Burchfield’s request to reconsider or reduce the sentence is expected next week. He remains behind the bars at the White County Jail.
A final pre-trial hearing is coming up next Thursday in the case against 56-year-old Christopher Rogers of Carmi. Rogers was charged back in November of 2024 with Aggravated DUI (3 or more) along with 6 other counts. If no plea deal is reached, a jury trial is on the docket for April 21st.
A 63-year-old Crossville woman agreed to a plea deal in White County court Thursday. Stacey Ward was originally arrested in November of 2023 on 4 counts of Meth Delivery. Following numerous delays, Ward agreed to plea guilty to one count in exchange for the remaining counts being dismissed Thursday. She could face up to 7 years in prison and expects to be in rehab for the next 6-9 months according to online court documents. A sentencing date has been set for June 25th. Judge Webb advised her if she leaves rehab unsuccessfully and fails to appear for her hearing, she’ll be sentenced in her absence.
