A Fairfield man is out with a Notice to Appear following his arrest Tuesday afternoon in Burnt Prairie. A White County Sheriff’s Deputy says he observed a 2002 GMC Sierra traveling west just before 3pm crossing both the center line and fog line multiple times prompting a traffic stop near Lewis Scrap Yard. The driver, unable to provide a drivers license, did give over a photo ID. A check with dispatch revealed 64-year-old Phillip Bailey was driving on a revoked license resulting in his arrest. In addition, Bailey was cited for Improper Lane Usage, booked, and released with a White County court date of March 24th.
Late Tuesday night, 37-year-old James Earl of Carmi turned himself in on a White County warrant. It was just after 11:30pm when Earl arrived at the Sheriff’s Department giving himself up on an active warrant for a domestic violence incident according to the report. Earl was taken into custody and will remain behind bars until he can be seen by a judge.
