A Crossville man has been arrested. The White County Sheriff’s Department arrested 54-year-old Emmit Connely on a White County warrant for two counts of Criminal Sexual Assault and one count of Criminal Sexual Abuse. A preliminary hearing is set for Connely on May 29th at 10:00am.

Foot Chase and Warrant Lands Carmi Man in Jail

After a brief foot pursuit, Carmi Police were able to catch 31-year-old Harley Lewallen. Lewallen was wanted by authorities on a White County warrant for Aggravated Domestic Battery. Police arrested Lewallen for the warrant, along with a charge of Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer.

Failure to Appear Warrant Lands Woman in Jail
