Walmart Accident
A vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident prompted increased police presence at the Carmi Walmart on Saturday.
After the incident, 82-year-old Carolyn Green of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, left the scene without reporting the crash, resulting in her arrest.
Green was taken to the White County Jail but was later released with two citations: leaving the scene of an accident and leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury.
She is due in a White County courtroom on May 26 at 9 am.
