While already behind bars at the White County Jail, Anthony Watkins was served an active warrant on Thursday stemming from a 2022 case.
Watkins was issued the warrant in April 2025 after his second no-appearances court date, and no payments were made. The State’s Attorney would go on to quash the warrant in February of this year and reissued a new one. The charges are for Unlawful Use of Property, Retail Theft, and Resisting a Peace Officer. A charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine was dismissed.

Also on Thursday, a Crossville resident called the Sheriff’s Department to report that Nickolas Hays was trespassing.
When deputies arrived at the residence, they observed Hays standing in a doorway. Hays was wanted on an active White County warrant for Domestic Battery with prior convictions. Hays was placed under arrest and detained at the White County Jail. Later on, Hays was released on Pre-Trial Release conditions.

Lastly, around 8:30 am on Friday, a deputy arrived at a residence on Sycamore Street regarding a possible wanted person.
The front door of the residence was open, where the deputy noticed Rita Trabant. Trabant was then arrested on a White County warrant from 2025. She was transported to the White County Jail.
