Wabash County Crime Stoppers is offering a $300 reward for information leading the arrest of those responsible for a rash of 4 wheeler thefts in the Mt. Carmel area.
On New Year’s Day, Mt. Carmel Police responded to another report of a 4 wheeler burglary on Plum Street. Overnight, unknown persons entered a storage shed and stole a red Honda 400EX. That vehicle is said to have a torn seat and nerf handle bars.
Other reports received have said thieves have hotwired 4 wheelers or have pushed them away from residences and trailers. Anyone hearing a 4 wheeler at night or see individuals pushing one are being asked to call the Mt. Carmel Police Department at 262-4114.
