According to the White County Ambulance Director, Adam Allen, his department was dispatched to a call about a two-vehicle accident on Route 45. The accident reportedly involved injuries and entrapment with a vehicle on its side; no extrication was needed once on site.
Two individuals refused treatment, two others received care for their injuries. One individual was transported to a local hospital, and one juvenile was flown to Deaconess Evansville with non-life-threatening injuries.
The White County Sheriff’s Department, Norris City Police Department, Illinois State Police, and IDOT were at the scene to assist.
