Darren Hays was in attendance for his latest court appearance, a pre-trial hearing, Thursday afternoon. Online court records show correspondence was received from the alleged victim in the case by attorneys earlier in the week. Without objection, the alleged victim will be permitted to attend all future hearings via Zoom. The court’s previous ruling denying Hays’ pre-trial release was continued and another pre-trial was set for June 11th. Hays remains in custody at the Saline County Detention Center. He’s facing six charges of Custodial Sexual Misconduct and an additional charge of Official Misconduct.
