Vaccination Opportunities UPDATED

Due to the recommendations of the CDC and the FDA, Fairfield Memorial Hospital’s COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic scheduled for today (Wednesday, April 14th) from 2pm-5:30pm will now be offering Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations instead of Johnson and Johnson. If you would like to schedule an appointment to receive the Moderna COVID vaccination please call 618-842-2082.

No appointment will be needed for the next Ferrell Hospital COVID-19 vaccine clinic, planned for Friday, April 16. The walk-in clinic will be held at College Heights Baptist Church, located at 2321 Illinois Avenue in Eldorado. The walk-in clinic will take place from 9 AM – 3 PM. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine will not be offered as had previously been planned. Instead, the number of Moderna vaccines will be increased to 180 doses, and patients will schedule appointments for their second dose, due approximately 4 weeks later. The clinic ending time is approximate, as vaccine supplies may be used up prior to 3 PM.

The Illinois National Guard and Jackson County Health Department are hosting Regional COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics weekly. Please use the link to make an appointment.
