Wabash Valley College is excited to announce two upcoming quilt exhibits to showcase the talent and art of our community. Opening these exhibits will be “Quilts of the Wabash” which will feature local quilts made and submitted by members of the community. This exhibit will be on display from February 6 through March 10.
The second exhibit, “A Stitch in Time,” will feature “family heirloom” quilts which will tell the stories of families through the fabric of the individual quilts. Visitors to the Art Gallery will be able to view these quilts from March 13 through April 17.
Quilts are currently being accepted for display in the Gallery. Quilts need to be in very good condition and available for the span of the exhibit. To submit a quilt or for more information, contact the exhibit curator, Jamey Walston, at 618-240-9544.
