A pair of White County men are out on pre-trial release following an arrest by Carmi Police Thursday night. Officer pulled over 28-year-old Blake Duvall of Oak Street and 24-year-old Jaden Weasel of rural Carmi just before midnight on Oak at Industrial Avenue. Duvall was behind the wheel according to the report and faces four misdemeanors including Driving while License Suspended, Driving under the Influence, DUI with a Blood Alcohol Content over .08, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The passenger in the back seat, Weasel allegedly refused to identify himself after officers found an open container of alcohol was discovered in the floorboard. Weasel is facing a charge of Obstructing Justice and also received a citation for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol by a Passenger.
