Two burglary convictions handed down in White County Court Wednesday

In White County Court Wednesday, 40 year old Charla Sullivan of Carmi entered an open plea of guilty on one count of theft according to States Attorney Denton Aud.

Sullivan is one of two individuals arrested following the burglary of the Hank and Donna Matz residence in August.  Sullivan and Mark Keller are accused of robbing the home while the family was attending the funeral of Hank.  Sullivan and Keller were arrested in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on August 24th.

Sentencing for Sullivan is set for January 23, 2017 at 1:30 in the courtroom of Judge T. Scott Webb.  Sullivan is facing between 2-5 years in Department of Corrections custody.

32 year old Joshua N Arnold of Benton was sentenced to 5 years in prison and 2 years of mandatory supervised release on one count of burglary.  Arnold was also ordered to pay all associated costs and make restitution to his victim.
