On Thursday night, Carmi Police conducted a traffic stop on 51-year-old Carmi resident David Simmons.
Simmons ended up being arrested for Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle and No Valid Driver’s License. He was also cited for Operation of a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration due to mandatory insurance.
A notice to appear was handed to Simmons, and he was later released the same day.
