Three Area Residents Sentenced in White County Court

3 area residents learned their sentences in White County court recently.

51 year old Grayville resident Bryan P. Hensley has been convicted of a class 2 felony for possession of meth with intent to deliver.  He’ll spend 3 years behind bars followed by 2 years of parole.  His sentence was handed down earlier this month.

 

Monday, 43 year old Rodney Harrington of Carbondale was sentenced in Carmi court proceedings following his convictions of class 4 felonies, driving while license revoked and possession of between 100 and 500 grams of cannabis.  He received 3 years behind bars for the driving conviction and an additional year for the pot conviction.  He received a year parole each to follow his jail time.

 

Yesterday, 22 year old Cale Cheek of Enfield was sentenced by Judge Webb.  Cheek had previously been on probation, which was revoked yesterday in conjunction with his new possession of meth conviction.  He received a new sentence handed down yesterday.  Cheek will spend the next 2 years jailed in the department of corrections and was given a year parole.
