The City of Carmi will have a planned water service outage on Sun., Aug. 18, 2019 beginning at 7am. The interruption of service is due to a leaky fitting that needs repaired on one of the city’s water mains. The following areas are anticipated to lose water service at that time: Carmi Family Dental, The Coffee Shop, Dimaggio’s Pizza, CVS, USDA office, all of April Ave., Jill St., Kathy St., Kirk St., Shane St., Lynn St., all of Montgomery Circle, the south side of West Main Street from house numbers 901-1011, the west side of College Blvd from house numbers 113-423. The City anticipates crews will be able to restore water service by approximately 12pm noon. Once service is restored, potential boil order advisories will be disseminated through local media platforms. The City of Carmi apologies for any inconvenience.
