A Shawneetown man who’s cutting timber has made a plea on facebook hoping to let folks in the area who may be shooting rifles to be careful. Adam Patton says he’s cutting timber near Hale Body Shop and Cutchin Farm and yesterday they not only heard gunfire, but also “bullets flying through the woods”. He says he and his partner had to leave the area quickly, saying the two could’ve easily been injured or killed. Patton says he’s back in the area for work again today.
