A Carmi man is due in court today after being arrested on a warrant Tuesday evening. Carmi Police arrested 47-year-old Jeremy Scott Allen of Iris Lane at the intersection of Lagoon and Griffth just before 10pm. The warrant was in relation to an alleged Aggravated Battery that occurred March 11th. He’s also picked up a charge of Obstruction of ID. Allen has a previous conviction of Aggravated Battery from 2023. He’ll appear before Judge Webb at 10am.
