Carmi Rotary Club meeting
The Carmi Rotary club held a short meeting on Thursday as they were missing several members.
The main topic of discussion centered around a few upcoming ideas, with more details to follow on both of these exciting plans.
In club business, Cindy Conley won the 50/50 drawing but was not able to claim the day’s cash prize. Don Drone named Tom Logan as the day’s phantom.
The Carmi Rotary club meets every Thursday at noon at the First United Methodist Church on Main Street in Carmi. Anyone wishing to learn more about this civic organization is welcome to attend a meeting or speak with any Carmi Rotarian.
The Carmi Rotary club will be holding their annual fish fry on Friday at the American Legion on Oak Street here in Carmi.
The doors will open at 5:00 and serving will continue until 7:00pm that night.
For a $10 ticket, customers will receive a heaping portion of catfish, sides, drinks, and of course home-made desserts.
Tickets can be purchased in advance from any Carmi Rotarian or at the door on Friday evening.
