Road and Railroad Track Work
The Carmi Police Department issued a traffic advisory, which Carmi Mayor Jeff Pollard reminded local residents of during Tuesday’s city council meeting.
Crews will be working on the Fifth Street railroad tracks today, Wednesday, between the hours of 8:30 and 2:30.
The area will be closed to traffic, although there may be some one lane traffic at times. Motorists are urged to find an alternate route during the closure times.
