Red Cross Seeking Aid for Hurricane Victims
The American Red Cross has been one of the first agencies on site following disaster after disaster and this week’s massive Hurricane Florence is no exception.
Already, Red Cross personnel, including some Tri-State residents are on their way to the Carolina’s, if not already there. The Red Cross will provide shelter and will be deploying vehicles, equipment and relief supplies to the areas hit by the storm and its aftermath, including the expected massive flooding.
The Red Cross depends upon financial donations to be able to provid disaster relief. One can help those affected by Hurricane Florence by visiting redcross.org, calling 1-800 Red Cross or texting the word FLORENCE to 90999 to make a $10 donation. The contributions will help the Red Cross prepare for, respond to and help people recover from this disaster.
