The 160th annual Posey County Fair gets underway in earnest this evening at the fairgrounds near New Harmony. Before folks can get down and dirty playing mud volleyball and pack the grandstands for Motocross, Tractor Pulls, and live music including Muscadine Bloodline, tradition calls for new royalty. Four new pageant winners were crowned on Saturday afternoon and evening. This year’s Posey County Princess is Ella Rainey, daughter of Seth and Rachel Rainey. The new Posey County Duchess is Hannah Carr. Rounding out the 2019 court are Miss Teen, Amber Allyn and PoCo Queen Danielle Perry. Runners up in the Teen and Queen categories were Autumn Collier and Taylor Collins respectively. Coming up tonight at the Fair, Quad and Bike Drags at the race course start at 7 while the Rodeo is planned for 7 at the Main Arena.
