The Young Leader Committee of the White County Farm Bureau is hosting the 2016 Youth Pedal Pull on Saturday, August 6, 2016. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Floral Hall at the White County Fair in Carmi (THE START TIME IS LATER THAN WHAT WAS PUBLISHED IN THE FAIR BOOK).
All area youth are invited to participate. Three classes for both girls and boys will be offered. Weight classes will be: CLASS 1 – 50 lbs. and under; CLASS 2 – 51 lbs. to 75 lbs.; CLASS 3 – 76 lbs. and over. There is a maximum age limit of 12 years old.
First and second place trophies will be awarded in each class. The winners will also be featured in an upcoming issue of the White County Farm Bureau Ag News.
Registration can be made at the pedal pull registration table in the Floral Hall beginning at 4:30 p.m. the day of the event.
Winners in each class will be registered for the Illinois State Fair Pedal Pull, to be held on Tuesday, August 16 in Springfield, at the winner’s request.
