Pat Paynter is once again raising money for the Southern Illinois AIDS Walk. It is being held on Saturday, March 25 at 11am at the SIU CarbondaleNewman Center. She has been the top fundraiser every year that she has participated, and last year she was presented with the Steven St. Julian HIV Leadership Award for her decades of service to this and other HIV / AIDS organizations. All proceeds from the walk go towards the purchase of grocery store gift cards for low-income households impacted by HIV and AIDS.
