MVC Tournament
The Evansville Aces will be playing in the Missouri Valley Conference Men’s Basketball tournament this week in St. Louis at the Enterprise Center (formerly Scott Trade Center)
The Aces, the tenth ranked team in the tournament will take on 7th seeded Illinois State Thursday night at 8:30. WROY AM 1460 and 92.1 FM will be broadcasting that game, we will be on the air around 8 Thursday night.
The tournament opens with number 8 seed Indiana State and 9th seeded Valparaiso at 6 p.m. Thursday.
The winner of the Indiana State and Valparaiso game will meet Loyola Chicago, the number one seed Friday at noon. That game will be followed by Missouri State and Bradley, the number four and five teams.
Friday evening, the winner of the Evansville-Illinois State game will face second seeded Drake at 6. That game will be followed by Southern Illinois and UNI.
SIU is ranked third, UNI is a sixth seeded team.
The championship will be decided Sunday at 1, that game will be carried on CBS sports.
