On Christmas Eve, the Carmi Police, with the assistance of the White County Sheriff’s Department, arrested a Crossville man after Carmi Police took a report on the individual.
Ethan Mercer was placed under arrest and taken to the White County Jail for charges of Reckless Conduct and Endangering the Life and Health of a Child.
Eleven minutes after Christmas Day ended, a Burnt Prairie man was arrested by Carmi Police.
56-year-old Eric Masterson was stopped by police, and the officer knew of a White County warrant for Masterson. The felony warrant is for the charge of Unlawful Use of Methamphetamine.
Masterson was arrested and later released per the conditions of the warrant.
