McLeansboro Council Meeting Tuesday
The City Council of McLeansboro will meet for what appears to be a busy meeting Tuesday evening at 6.
The meeting will open with the swearing in of the new aldermen and welcoming statements.
Following routine matters, McLeansboro council will discuss and take action on some mayoral appointments. There will be discussion about an electrical interconnect with IMEA at Fairfield to provide for emergency power for McLeansboro when needed.
The Kiwanis will ask for help in improving Edgar Satterfield Kiwanis Park on West Meadows Acres Drive. There will also be discussion concerning maintenance at McCoy Memorial Library.
The Hamilton County Economic Development Commission will ask about grants within the TIF district.
Dispatch services will also be covered at the meeting, along with summer pool schedule and other matters relating to the swimming pool.
An executive session is also expected to be held prior to adjournment.
