March 11 Trivia Night discussed at Thursday’s Rotary meeting

At Thursday’s Rotary meeting, Kenny Harrelson conducted a 2 round trivia contest just like the one the club will hold on March 11. The club divided up into teams and the competition was fierce. Kenny asked questions from the Bible, geography, pop culture, history, sports, and several other categories that will be asked that night.

In club business, Rotarians discussed the fact that the Trivia contest is only one week off. It is scheduled for March 11 at the American Legion. It will begin at 6PM. The cost for a 4 person team is $40. Rotarians will provide the snacks and a sign up sheet was passed around. Rotarians discussed the food signup and the ads for the answer sheet.

All are progressing nicely for the big night. Sherri Logan was named the phantom. Randy Douglass won the honor of selecting the pink ball in the 50/50 drawing and did win the pot. Andy Williams and Little Giant prepared a delicious meal of Ham and beans and cornbread. The club meets at noon on Thursday at the First United Methodist Church.

Anyone wishing to get involved is encouraged to come help Rotary with the many local projects and charities that are supported. You can follow us on Facebook.
