The Carmi-White County Football team lost to Flora last night by a final score of 20-14.
The Bulldogs led 14-7 late in the 2nd quarter, but Flora tied the game on a kickoff return, making the score 14-14 at halftime. Flora marched on a 6-minute touchdown drive to start the 2nd half, taking a 20-14 lead and they would go on to win by that score.
The Bulldogs fall to 0-2 on the season. Carmi will play their first home game of the year next Friday as they host Hamilton County.
The Carmi-White County Volleyball team defeated Gallatin County last night in two sets, 25-13 and 25-18. The Lady Bulldogs improve to 7-1 on the season, their next match will be Tuesday when they travel to Flora.
The Carmi-White County Boys and Girls Golf teams traveled to Eldorado yesterday to face Eldorado, NCOE, and Gallatin County.
The Boys finished in 2nd Place behind NCOE by one stroke, falling 152-153.
Maxon O’Daniel placed 3rd overall with a 37.
Abe Girten shot a 38.
Cayden Holloman and Gabe Winkleman both shot a 39.
Jordan Tomassetti shot a 40.
Jax Jordan shot a 42.
The Lady Bulldogs fell to Eldorado 187-210.
Bri Hale finished 3rd overall with a 48.
Katelyn Davis shot a 49.
Makenlee Holloman shot a 56.
Sophia McCully shot a 57.
Eva Grogan shot a 58.
Emma Legg shot a 65.
The Boys Golf team has a rare Friday match today as they travel to Olney.
Both the Boys and the Girls will host Mt. Carmel on Monday.
The Carmi-White County Jr. High baseball and softball teams traveled to Benton yesterday. The Bullpups fell by a final score of 12-0. The Lady Bullpups lost 10-9.
