The Carmi-White County Volleyball team defeated Hamilton County last night in two sets, 25-10 and 25-11. The Lady Bulldogs improve to 19-2 on the season, and 2-0 in the Black Diamond Conference. Carmi will be back in action on Monday when they travel to Christopher.
The Carmi-White County Boys and Girls Golf teams hosted Eldorado at the Carmi Country Club yesterday afternoon.
The Bulldogs came away victorious with a team score of 170.
Maxon O’Daniel placed 2nd, shooting a 41.
Abe Girten placed 3rd, shooting a 42.
Cayden Holloman placed 4th, shooting a 43.
Jax Jordan placed 5th, shooting a 44.
Gabe Winkleman shot a 45.
Jordan Tomassetti shot a 47.
The Lady Bulldogs fell to Eldorado by a score of 217-224.
Katelyn Davis and Sophia McCully both tied for 2nd, shooting a 53.
Bri Hale and Makenlee Holloman both tied for 6th, shooting a 59.
Emma Legg shot a 67.
Both CWC Golf teams will host Flora on Monday.
The Carmi-White County Cross Country team traveled to Norris City yesterday for the Dave Gray Invitational. Andrew Benham and Makyla Seibers both finished in 1st Place. Both Cross Country teams will have all of next week off, their next meet won’t be until October 2nd when they travel to Robinson.
The Carmi-White County Football team will travel to Red Hill tomorrow afternoon to face the Salukis. The Bulldogs come into tomorrow’s game with an 0-3 record as they’re looking for their first win of the season. Red Hill comes in with a 2-1 record.
