The Carmi-White County Volleyball team began play in the NCOE Tournament yesterday afternoon. The Lady Bulldogs defeated Thompsonville in 2 sets, 25-10 and 25-8 in their first match of pool play. Carmi then played Pinckneyville, the #8 ranked team in 2A, and lost in three sets; 17-25, 25-22, 13-15.
The Lady Bulldogs will face Hamilton County at approximately 5 PM this evening, they will then play Herrin at approximately 6 PM in the Silver Bracket of the tournament.
The Carmi-White County Junior High Baseball team defeated Gallatin County at home yesterday, 12-11. The Bullpups improve to 4-8 on the year, they will travel to NCOE tomorrow.
The Carmi-White County Boys & Girls Cross Country teams will run at West Frankfort this afternoon.
The Carmi-White County Boys Golf team will travel to West Frankfort this afternoon.
