The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team defeated Eldorado last night in the Harrisburg Preview Tournament by a final score of 53-19.
Addi Elliott led the Lady Dogs in scoring with 16 points.
Caroline Simmons scored 11.
Torrie Rider scored 9.
Jaya Smith scored 7.
Callie Miller and Addie Courson each scored 3.
Natalie Goemaat scored 2.
Norah Taylor and Eva Attebury each scored 1.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 2-0 on the season, they will go back to Harrisburg tonight to face West Frankfort at 7:30 PM.
The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team will begin their season tonight as they travel to Gallatin County to face the Hawks.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 14-15 season, and they graduated five seniors from last year’s team.
Fans can watch and listen to tonight’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. Varsity will tip-off around 7:30 PM.
