The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team defeated Hamilton County last night in the IHSA Regional Semifinals by a final score of 44-40.
Addi Elliott led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 20 points.
Caroline Simmons scored 19.
Jaya Smith and Torrie Rider each scored 2 points.
Ashlyn Rager scored 1 point.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 19-9 on the year, and they advance to the Regional Championship Game for the second straight year, they will face Mt. Carmel on Thursday.
The Lady Aces are 26-4, and they defeated Fairfield 53-19 last night in the Regional Semis. Mt. Carmel defeated Carmi just two weeks ago, 40-28 in Mt. Carmel.

The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team was scheduled to host Lawrenceville tonight at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium, but that game has been canceled. The Bulldogs will wrap up the regular season this Friday at home against Fairfield, before they begin regional play next Monday at home against West Frankfort.
