The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team defeated Hamilton County in overtime last night by a final score of 45-39.
Caroline Simmons led Carmi in scoring with 16 points.
Jaya Smith scored 12.
Addi Elliott scored 9.
Torrie Rider scored 6.
Natalie Goemaat scored 2.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 6-0 on the season and 1-0 in the Black Diamond Conference.
Carmi will travel to Eldorado tomorrow night for another BDC battle.
The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team will travel to DuQuoin tonight for the DuQuoin Tip-Off Classic as they face the host Indians. The Bulldogs are 0-1 after falling to Gallatin County on the road last week.
