The Carmi-White County Wrestling team picked up a 48-30 win on the road against Fairfield last night to improve their record to 8-4.
Connor Benham, Nolan Garner, Jazz Duckworth, Cole Evans, and Branson Burnett all pinned their opponents.
Gage Anderson, Caleb King, and Laeden Vargas all received forfeit wins.
The Bulldog Wrestlers will take a break during the holidays, their next match won’t be until January 6th at Herrin.
The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team defeated Robinson last night by a final score of 41-33.
Caroline Simmons led Carmi in scoring with 13 points.
Torrie Rider scored 10.
Eva Attebury scored 6.
Addi Elliott and Jaya Smith each scored 5.
Natalie Goemaat scored 2.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 11-1 on the season, they will travel to Murray, Kentucky tomorrow to take part in the Calloway County Hardwood Classic. Carmi will face Logan County out of Russellville, Kentucky at 12:30 PM.
The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team will host Hamilton County tonight for a Black Diamond Conference battle. The Bulldogs are 0-8 on the season as they are still looking for their first win.
Tonight will also be the 12th Annual Silent Night game. Fans are encouraged to stay silent until the Bulldogs score their 6th point of the contest.
