The Carmi-White County Boys & Girls Golf teams were in action yesterday afternoon at the Carmi Country Club.
The Bulldogs defeated NCOE & Edwards County by a final score of 155-172-173.
Cayden Holloman finished 1st overall shooting a 37.
Gabe Winkleman & Maxon O’Daniel tied for 3rd shooting a 39.
Abe Girten placed 5th with a 40.
Jax Jordan shot a 48.
Jordan Tomassetti shot a 49.
The Lady Bulldogs finished in 2nd Place out of 4 teams yesterday, falling to Massac County 167-220.
Katelyn Davis & Bri Hale tied for 7th overall shooting a 54.
Makenlee Holloman & Sophioa McCully tied for 9th with a 56.
Eva Grogan shot a 59.
Emma Legg shot a 69.
Both CWC Golf Teams will be back in action on Thursday as they will host Harrisburg, Gallatin County, and NCOE.
The Carmi-White County Junior High softball team defeated Olney yesterday at Archie Brown Field by a final score of 9-5.
Maci Martin, Auriana Goff, Emma Ricketts, Alyss Courson, Sophia Johnson, and Kai Wiggins all had base hits in the win.
The Lady Bullpups improve to 4-2 on the season, they will travel to Eldorado this afternoon.
The Carmi-White County Junior High baseball team fell to Olney yesterday, 9-5.
Burrell McAllister and Tyson May picked up the lone base hits for the Bullpups.
Carmi falls to 0-4 on the season, they will also travel to Eldorado this afternoon.
This Thursday is the annual Fall Sports Preview at CWCHS. All fall sport athletes will be introduced, and the night will be capped off with a scrimmage from the Lady Bulldog Volleyball team. Fans who can’t attend will be able to watch on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
