Local Arrested on a Warrant
Carmi Police arrested a local resident on an outstanding warrant Thursday morning.
According to the Carmi City Police incident report, local authorities observed Dustin Paul Bell, 31, 262 Illinois Highway One, Carmi walking along Fairgrounds Road.
Knowing Bell was wanted on an outstanding warrant for attempted acquisition of methamphetamine precursors with a bond of $500 cash.
Bell was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the City County Jail for processing. As of early Friday morning, Bell remained in custody.
