McLeansboro’s Christmas On the Square, sponsored by Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce and the City of McLeansboro, will include the following activities:
December 2
Today’s events include extended shopping hours, the Christmas Parade at 5:30 p.m., Elaine Wilson, harpist, performing at McCoy Library from 6-7 p.m., and entertainment in the Courthouse Lobby from 6-7:30 p.m. Activities for children will also take place from 6-7:30 p.m. as Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet children in the Courthouse basement, where there will be games and a Santa’s gift shop.
December 3
The Christmas On the Square celebration continues today in McLeansboro. Today’s events include Breakfast With Santa from 8-10 a.m. at WADI Senior Center and Story Hour at 10 a.m. at McCoy Library with guest author Rosalie Murray. A Holiday Bazaar will be held at the old high school gym from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The Bazaar will include vendors, candy, food, and door prizes. McCoy Library’s annual Christmas Open House will take place from 9-11 a.m. at the Library.
