Grayville Police Investigating Recent Burglaries

Grayville authorities are working a pair of burglary reports.  The first occurred at Bradford Supply on Court Street over the weekend of November 14th – 17th.  Police say when workers arrived to open the store on Monday, they found no signs of forced entry but about $200 in cash had been removed from a money box in the business.  Police Chief Mason Siegel discovered footprints on a desk located directly below a window and believes the suspect gained entry through said window.  Officials with Bradford Supply are reviewing surveillance footage in the hopes of identifying the suspect(s) involved.

On Saturday, November 15th, Grayville Police also took a report of a burglary at a home on North State Road.  Officers say they found a large window with no intact glass and found the interior in significant disarray.  Multiple totes containing jewelry and a black gas powered bicycle have been reported as stolen.  Evidence technicians from the Illinois State Police have assisted in processing the residence.  Anyone with information related to the incident are asked to contact the Grayville Police Department’s non-emergency line.
