Friendly Feud Comes to Harrisburg on Feb. 3

Even though temperatures are on the cool side, it’s going to be a hot night on Feb. 3 at Morello’s in Harrisburg as Southeastern Illinois College and Harrisburg Medical Center team up to bring in Friendly Feud.

A spinoff of the long popular TV show, Family Feud, the Friendly Feud will follow a similar format with three regular rounds and a Fast Money Round.  It’s SIC vs. HMC, but audience members will have a chance to join in the fun and be part of the show during each round.

Todd Bryant, native of Eldorado, and radio personality for Magic 95.1, will be the local celebrity host for the evening. All proceeds will be split between HMC for the ER expansion and SIC for student scholarships.  The cost is $45 per person and includes a dinner of pizza, pasta and salad.

In addition, the event will include a 50/50 raffle, balloon pop with prizes, and a silent auction.

“SIC has many great partners in the region, and HMC is one of them,” said SIC President Jonah Rice.  “This type of event has been used at other organizations, and it should be a fun night that will benefit two great causes.”

The event is sponsored by Ticket Sponsor Farmers State Bank, Gold Sponsor Banterra, and Silver Sponsors Legence Bank, American Farm Mortgage & Financial Services and Air Evac Lifeteam 138.

Dinner begins at 6 p.m., and the gameshow starts at 7.  For tickets, visit Farmer’s State Bank in Harrisburg or call 253-0396.   Seating is limited.
