A White County warrant was served to McLeansboro resident Kenneth Henderson while he was waiting in the White County Jail.
Henderson was originally arrested in Hamilton County. The White County Sheriff’s Sergeant served the paperwork to Henderson and explained that it was a Failure to Appear warrant.
Henderson’s warrant is for a case from 2025, in which he entered into a plea agreement and was fined and placed on supervision for driving on a suspended license. Three charges were dismissed per the deal: unauthorized certificate of title, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and no valid registration.
Henderson failed to appear for three court dates at the White County courthouse, resulting in the warrant.
He was later released after appearing before a judge on Wednesday.
