Elks Benefit
The Carmi Elks Lodge has offered the venue on Cherry Street to a number of benefits over the past few years, helping to raise money for a number of worthy causes.
This weekend, Saturday, March 2, there will be a benefit for Elks Charities.
Organizers have lined up an evening of musical entertainment. The evening will get underway with Mark Rogers and the Appetizers at 5:15.
An acoustic set with Josh Cronin will follow at 6.
Pez and the Dispensers will wrap up the musical entertainment taking the stage around 9 Saturday night.
There will be a $5 per person cover charge.
Live and silent auctions will be held and food will be available.
Anyone who would like to donate items for the auctions should contact the Elks Lodge or Barb Marks Ringenberg.
Money raised Saturday night will be used to support national and state Elks charities.
