The Egyptian Health Department was notified Saturday of 4 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (2)
- 1 male in his 20’s
- 1 female in her 30’s
- Gallatin County (2)
- 1 female in her 50’s
- 1 male in his 70’s
There were zero cases reported Sunday.
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,567 lab confirmed positives, including 50 deaths, 2,467 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,743 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1,684 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 495 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 481 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 2,250 new confirmed cases and 23 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,237,828 confirmed cases and 21,251 deaths in Illinois.
