“We started in Allendale in 1906. We are an independent community bank. We expanded to Mt. Carmel, Illinois in 1984. In 2016 we purchased First State Bank of West Salem. And then today we opened up our Carmi location that we’re thrilled about. We are a community bank. We offer traditional products. We focus on rural communities like we all live in here. That’s what we specialize in. That’s what we know and that’s what we are going to continue to do.”
While tradition plays a part in FNB’s modus operandi, don’t let that fool you. The bank plans for it’s Carmi location to be it’s most advanced yet. The look and layout of the offices is a departure from the stereotypical banking atmosphere and with that, Price says it’s an office built for today’s consumer.
“We have invested heavily in technology. Our mobile apps, our ATMs, online banking, electronic bill pay, everything you can think of is state-of-the-art, up-to-date, and will compare with any larger bank you come across.”
It comes down to the company’s branding, which is Discover the Difference with People You Know. And with that, Price closed with this.
“We could not have found a more fabulous team we put together in White County, Dean Ackerman, Chris Myers, and Kira Sexton. We are thrilled to have them here. I think they are well known faces. We’ve definitely got the people you know. I invite White County businesses and residents to discover the difference and I think you’ll find that there is.”
