Despite Runaround, Sheriffs Department Makes Warrant Arrest

White County Sheriffs Department officials had to jump through a few hoops Tuesday morning, but they got their person.  Tuesday morning, a sergeant with the department was dispatched to a rural Enfield residence in reference to a wanted individual.  The report indicates a male answered the door and said the wanted individual wasn’t at the residence, but rather had left with her grandparents.  The sergeant then traveled into town to speak with the grandparents who advised she hadn’t been at their home.  At that point, the sergeant, Sheriff Weiss, and a deputy went back to the rural Enfield residence and advised it was known that 32-year-old Haley Stocke was inside and that he needed to go get her.  After about five minutes, Stocke came out and was placed under arrest.  The warrant is in relation to a November 5th charge of Obstructing Justice/Destroying Evidence.  She was booked, processed, and released with a notice to appear.  Stocke is due in White County court on December 15th for a first appearance.
