Dawgs Beat the Foxes

The Carmi White County Bulldog baseball team put a w in the win column Tuesday afternoon as they defeated the Hamilton County Foxes 2 to 1.

The locals scored a run in the fourth and fifth inning, while Hamilton County was only able to score a run in the sixth inning.

Carmi’s runs were scored by Rankin and Edwards.

Blazier picked up the win on the mound for the Dawgs.

Now, the Bulldogs are back in action this afternoon as they take on Harrisburg.

That game will be broadcast on our sister station, WRUL 97.3 FM. Jason Craig and Chris Lucas will have the action covered and will be on the air shortly after 4:15 for the pre-game show, prior to the 4:30 game time.

The Lady Bulldogs played Hamilton County Tuesday afternoon, but at this time, we do not have that score.

Thursday, the Lady Bulldogs and bulldogs will play Hamilton County again, with the softball game to be broadcast on WRUL 97.3 FM. Game time, 4:30, pre-game show will air around 4:15.
