
A smaller pool than White County, but there will be some contested races voters will choose from in Gallatin County on April 1st. Among those contested, there include two village trustee races. In New Haven, voters will choose 3 of 5 choices including Terra Holak, Vicki Russell, Matthew Morgan, Deidra Gibbs, and Brigitte Browning. Village of Equality residents that show up at the polls will choose 3 of 5 choices as well from the following options: Bruce L. Gowan, Clyde Andrew Lunsford, David Aud, Joseph B. Westbrook, Joshua Maloney. There’s also a township trustee race in Ridgway where the top 4 of 6 choices will fill that board. Choices include Danny C. Newton, William “Scotty” Sidwell, and Logan Scott Vinyard, all Republicans along with Democratic options Derwin D. Drone, R. Michael McGuire, and Richard L. Moye.
Gallatin County voters will choose representatives for their school board and some voters that live within nearby school districts will also have choices including NCOE and Hardin County. For Gallatin, voters will be asked to choose 3 of 4 choices including Erin Krikie, Gary Clayton, Lisa Montgomery, and Rob Wood.
There are also two township races contested, one in Eagle Creek for Township Clerk and the other in Equality for Township Supervisor. In Eagle Creek, Democrat Sarah Mile Rayborn will square off with Jami Rachelle Crest, a Republican. In Equality, Democrat Elizabeth Wargel will compete with Republican Candice Hopson-Lunsford for Supervisor.
