The SIC Community Choir, led by Tim Green and accompanied by the Rogers sisters of Eldorado (Madeline on piano and Lydia on violin), performs during the 2015 Christmas concert at SIC.
Christmas is in the air at Southeastern Illinois College as the SIC Community Chorus takes the stage at the George T. Dennis Visual & Performing Arts Center Theatre on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. Directed by Tim Green of Golconda, the concert will open with Christmas is in the Air, an original song composed by Green.
Concert goers will enjoy a medley of Christmas carols and holiday favorites, such as Baby It’s Cold Outside. As a special treat, the SIC Community Chorus will be joined by students of SIC Concert Choir as four choruses from Handel’s Messiah will be performed. Everyone is invited to attend the concert, which will last about an hour. Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased at the door.
