Chamber Dinner Deadline Extended
The Carmi Chamber of Commerce will host the 74th annual Chamber Dinner, Monday, Oct. 1 at the First Christian Church, beginning at 6 that evening.
The evening will include the State of the City Address from Carmi Mayor Jeff Pollard, along with the presentation of the Citizen of the Year and Large and Small Business of the Year.
The deadline for reserving a spot for the annual gathering was extended through the end of this week. Lauren Higginson, the executive director of the Carmi Chamber explained the reservations must be in to the Chamber office by the close of business Friday, Sept. 21. The cost is $20 for chamber members and $25 for non-members.
